*Thomas Stalker received a bye in the prelim action, then faced the
light-welterwight Kumar of India for  quarter final action.

*Stalker is the  lightweight gold medal winner
at the 2010 Commonwealth Games is Delhi, India.

*TOM STALKER WINS AGAINST INDIAN
in his first bout at the London Olympics and chalks up  another
great win for Team Great Britain as they roll along and get ready
for further action with the only loss being the second bout of
Scotland's JOSH TAYLOR.  Of interest, it was Tom Stalkier who
defeated Taylor in the finals at the Commonwealth Games

ESSEX, SUSSEX and NORFOLK AMATEUR BOXING

AMATEUR BOXING IN ENGLAND'S EAST ANGLIA:

As we journey through British boxing, amateur boxing in East Anglia
should be part of the journey into the past and present.


== Attleborough Amateur Boxing Club = Nofolk


*On  March 10, 2012, the club hosted an 18 bout card
at the Connaught Hall in Attleborough.
Coaching duties handled by Jon Dennis, Andrew Roydon and
the president of the club Richard Gaston.


== Aylsham Youth Amateur Boxing Club ==

*Began operating in 1985 as a result of the efforts
of a community worker by the name of Vicki Cotton
contacted a coach of the Norwich Lads Club to help
revive boxing in the location.  At the present time,
the club chairman is Gary Todd AND  matchmaker is
Rob Davy.  


*the club plans to have a dinner show for April 27th.
